German avtokontsern Mercedes-Benz introduced the intellectual system to improve passenger safety. It will appear in next year's car series E-Class, reports Motorauthority.
The system includes radar, cameras and special computer, the manufacturing data. The principle of its work is as follows - the device analyze the road situation and the location of surrounding vehicles, and if there is the likelihood of an accident, the system will pull belts, resulting in a "war footing" airbag and preparing for emergency braking. A Mercedes-Benz already has a similar system Pre-Safe (put to the S-Class), which is based on the testimony of sensors and ESP driver, but it can not "anticipate" emergency situation on the road. At the more expensive S-Class is set "advanced" version of the system, which can initiate emergency braking when an unavoidable accident.
