Skoda Superb won just two awards

The car Skoda Superb won just two major automotive awards: "Golden steering wheel - 2008" and "The Great Austrian automobile prize."

Car prize of Germany "Golden steering wheel - 2008" was awarded Superb, six ahead of their rivals in the fight for the title of best car in its class. The annual prize, established by the authoritative German publication Bild am Sonntag 33 years ago, is awarded for achievements in the automobile industry and is one of the most prestigious in Europe. The jury, which this time included the stars and automotive journalists, praised Superb for a variety of criteria: driveability, interior space, price, quality of assembly, etc. The jury valued and innovative solutions model: a system of double doors opening TwinDoor, nine pillows security, including a cushion to protect the driver's knees, AFS and others. The second prize - "the Austrian Grand prix car" - Superb received from the Austrian union of drivers of cars, motorcycles and bicycles (ARBO). Technical experts specially invited by the stars and thousands of motorists chose the most popular car in 2008 from 36 applicants.
